Fabric & cut — Sod and soft soil cut out, geotextile fabric laid down so the stone doesn’t sink into the clay by spring.

Compacted base — Crushed base course laid and compacted in lifts. The part you never see and always feel.

Top course & crown — Clean traffic-bond top, shaped with a crown so water runs off the sides instead of pooling in ruts.
